Look for signs of issues: water stains, structural cracks, boundary disputes for land, or deferred maintenance. Document anything you find with photos.
Assess the neighborhood: visit at different times of day, check noise levels, look for nearby amenities (grocery stores, transit, parks), and evaluate access and surroundings.
Ask about: total costs (deposits, fees), terms and conditions, any planned changes or developments in the area, and the timeline for completing the transaction.
